The Start of Another Season!
It has been a wonderful start to another season of whale watching. The weather here in Victoria is starting to shape up for spring and the marine life are plentiful, with regular sightings of seals, sea lions, porpoise, and bald eagles. Transient and J-pod Orcas have been seen near the San Juan Islands and have treated some spectators to a wonderful show. It has been great to find J-pod all accounted for, including the return of Ruffles (J1), a local favorite, and one of the oldest males in the pod.
With trips departing daily, it’s looking like another great season; we look forward to seeing you soon!
